Valencia, 2. nap

Kedves Olvasóim!

A második napot bemelegítő beszélgetéssel kezdtük, ez segített ráhangolódni a napra, az angol nyelv használatára. A bemelegítés után tanárnőnk ismertette az első nagyobb, komolyabb feladatunkat mára. Közösen elmegyünk a városházára, megtekintjük az épületet, majd a városháza múzeumát fogjuk megnézni, a múzeumban nem nagy, hamar végig lehet rajta menni, érdekes, könnyen befogadható. A feladatunk pedig kiválasztani három tárgyat, ezeket nézzük meg alaposan, fényképezzük le, majd keresünk róla további információkat. Ezt a három tárgyat kell bemutatnunk a csoport előtt. Készíthetünk prezentációt, posztert, bármit. A lényeg, hogy legalább 10 percig beszéljünk a 3 tárgyról, miért választottuk, miért érdekes. Én először a széken alvó teremőrre gondoltam, a megadott kritériumnak megfelelt volna, arra gondoltam, hogy ezt kiválóan lehet dramatizálni, rövid színpadi jelenettel feldobni a foglalkozást, de sajnos nem volt ilyen teremőr. 

Mariya, a tanárnőnk mutatta az utat a városházáig, és kaptunk egy rövid vezetést a városról, a környékről. Valencia Európa zöld fővárosa volt 2024-ben. A városházán sok érdekességet mesélt, kivitt minket az erkélyre, ahonnan a városi méltóságok szokták nézni a Las Fallas fesztivált márciusban. A múzeum tényleg érdekes volt, kicsit kevésnek találtam a kapott időt, még szívesen nézelődtem volna. A bemutatók is jók voltak. 

Volt még más érdekes feladatunk is. Pozitív tanári tulajdonságokat mutató kártyákat kaptunk és ezekről a tulajdonságokról beszélgettünk, hogy melyik mit jelent, jelenthet, kinek melyik a fontos. Milyen volt a kedvenc tanárunk iskolás korunkban? Melyik tulajdonságát kedveltük. A csoportunk összetartó, a kurzus után közösen indultunk városnézésre, kis gasztronómiai túrára.

We started the second day with a warm-up conversation, which helped us get into the right mindset for the day and for using the English language. After the warm-up, our teacher introduced the first major task of the day. Together, we went to the City Hall, toured the building, and then visited the City Hall Museum. The museum is not very large, so it is easy to explore in a short amount of time. It is interesting and accessible, making the exhibits easy to appreciate.

Our task was to select three things (objects, artefacts), examine them carefully, take photographs of them, and then find additional information about them. We will have to present these three objects to the group. We can create a presentation, a poster, or any other format we prefer. The main requirement is to speak about the three objects for at least ten minutes, explaining why we chose them and why they are interesting. At first, I thought about choosing a museum guard sleeping on a chair, as that would have met the criteria. I imagined it could be brilliantly dramatized and turned into a short theatrical sketch to make the presentation more entertaining. Unfortunately, there was no such museum guard.

Mariya, our teacher, guided us to the City Hall and also gave us a brief introduction to the city and the surrounding area. Valencia was the European Green Capital in 2024. At the City Hall, she shared many interesting facts and took us out onto the balcony from which city officials traditionally watch the Las Fallas festival in March. The museum was truly fascinating. I felt that the time allocated for our visit was a little short, as I would happily have spent more time exploring. The presentations were also very good.

We also had another interesting activity. We received cards featuring positive teaching qualities and discussed what these characteristics mean, how they can be interpreted, and which ones each of us considers important. We reflected on our favourite teachers from our school years and talked about the qualities we appreciated most in them.

Our group is very cohesive, and after the course we set off together to explore the city and enjoy a small gastronomic tour.
