Tünde ès Dóri a fenntarthatósàg mèlységeibe vetettèk bele magukat. Példàul a 2011. júliusi koppenhágai felhőszakadás hatalmas károkat okozott a városban. Ennek nyomán Koppenhága elindította a Cloudburst Management Plan nevű programot, amelynek részeként új vízelvezető csatornákat, záportározókat, parkokat és utcákat alakítottak ki úgy, hogy heves esőzéskor biztonságosan elvezessék a vizet. A hét soràn szàmos jógyakorlat megosztására kerül sor, amelyet a mindennapi pedagógiai gyakorlatba is be tudnak építeni.
Dear Reader,
It is hard to believe that another year has passed, and once again we have reached one of the most exciting parts of the Erasmus programme: our professional mobility. This year, our destination is Denmark, often described as the happiest country in the world. During our stay, we are exploring modern approaches to sustainability as well as stress and conflict management, while also gaining insight into the Danish education system and culture.
Judit is attending a course on stress and conflict management together with colleagues from the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, and Germany. The group is highly motivated and open-minded, and the course is led by Met, a Danish trainer who founded and has been running this institution for more than twenty years. From the very beginning, Met quickly connected with the group’s dynamics and successfully guided this enthusiastic international team. We also learned that the school is located in the founders’ own home, and they welcome participants as if they were members of their own family. This warm and personal atmosphere shapes the entire learning experience, creating a supportive environment right from the start.
One of the most important lessons they have learned is that our thoughts influence our emotions, and our emotions, in turn, shape our actions. By finding the right approach, we can learn to manage and control this process. Throughout the course, they have practised techniques that help regulate thoughts and emotions more effectively. They have also discovered that, in order to live and work with less stress, it is essential to regularly recharge our own physical and emotional resources.
Meanwhile, Tünde and Dóri have immersed themselves in the topic of sustainability. Their group includes colleagues from Greece, Spain, Germany, Italy, as well as an American teacher who is currently working in Hungary. From the very beginning, their course leader, Peter, placed great emphasis on creating an informal, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere within the group.
They explored several inspiring examples of how environmental challenges can be transformed into practical solutions. One particularly interesting case was the cloudburst that struck Copenhagen in July 2011, causing extensive damage across the city. In response, Copenhagen launched the Cloudburst Management Plan, introducing new drainage systems, retention basins, parks, and redesigned streets that can safely channel excess rainwater during heavy storms. Throughout the week, participants will continue sharing good practices and innovative ideas that can later be incorporated into their own everyday teaching.
